Guidelines for acceptable use of the Telegent platform. This policy protects our community and ensures platform integrity.

Permitted Uses

  • Legitimate business communication with customers and contacts
  • Automated outreach with proper consent documentation
  • Revenue operations and sales intelligence activities
  • Customer service and support communications
  • Internal team collaboration and workflow automation
  • Analytics and reporting for business decision-making
  • Integration with authorized third-party applications
  • Compliance with applicable laws and regulations

Prohibited Uses

  • Illegal activities and fraud
  • Malicious content and spam
  • Security violations and unauthorized access
  • Platform abuse and data misuse
  • Harassment and abusive behavior

Prohibited Use Categories

The following uses of the Platform are strictly prohibited

Illegal Activities

  • Use of the Platform for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
  • Transmission of illegal, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or obscene content
  • Fraudulent or deceptive practices of any kind
  • Harassment, stalking, or intimidation of individuals
  • Distribution of illegal substances or regulated goods

Harmful Content

  • Malware, viruses, or any malicious code or software
  • Content that harms or exploits minors in any way
  • Hate speech, discrimination, or violent content targeting groups
  • Spam, chain letters, or pyramid schemes
  • Content that infringes on intellectual property rights

Security Violations

  • Unauthorized access to any systems, networks, or accounts
  • Reverse engineering or decompilation of Platform components
  • Network probing, scanning, or testing without authorization
  • Interference with Platform security mechanisms
  • Circumvention of usage limits, rate limits, or access restrictions

Platform Misuse

  • Resale, sublicense, or redistribution of Platform access
  • Use exceeding fair usage limits or causing performance degradation
  • Automated access or scraping without prior written consent
  • Exploitation of bugs, errors, or design flaws
  • Impersonation of Telegent or its representatives

Data Misuse

  • Collection of personal data without proper consent mechanisms
  • Processing of sensitive data (health, financial) outside agreed terms
  • Storage of cardholder data in violation of PCI DSS requirements
  • Unauthorized access to other users' data or accounts
  • Export of Platform data to competing services without authorization

Abusive Behavior

  • Harassment of Platform support or customer success teams
  • Threats, coercion, or extortion directed at Telegent employees
  • Filing false abuse reports or frivolous compliance claims
  • Attempting to manipulate support tickets or account status
  • Failure to respond to legitimate legal process
Enforcement

Policy Enforcement Actions

Violations may result in escalating enforcement actions

Initial notice for minor or first-time violations

Written warning with required corrective action

Suspension

Temporary suspension for serious or repeated violations

Service pause until issues are resolved

Termination

Permanent termination for severe violations

Immediate account closure and data export

Legal Action

Escalation for illegal activities or significant harm

Referral to law enforcement and legal proceedings

Report a Policy Violation

If you become aware of any violation of this Acceptable Use Policy, please report it immediately. Provide as much detail as possible to help us investigate.

Report Violation

This Acceptable Use Policy is effective as of May 2026 and supersedes all previous versions. We may update this policy periodically. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the current policy.
